Every single month our community decides upon a charity that they would like to support and donate towards, in the month of September we chose : 

OKAY everyone, September as some of you pointed out is Suicide Prevention Month, with that being said the charity of the month for September is the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. 988 is an American based crisis center that provide 24/7 free access to trained crisis counselors who specialize in helping individuals experiencing suicidal or any other sort of emotional distress. The 988 lifeline also accepts calls regarding individuals worried about loved ones. Since the 988 lifeline launched in 2022 they have received over 16 million calls (almost 14 thousand calls per day!). Although these numbers are huge, around 4 out of 5 Americans are unfamiliar with the 988 lifeline, making it a great cause to spread awareness for. If you are ever feeling down and that there is no way out, please reach out to the 988 Lifeline, it is a genuinely great service offering free professional help.
